Unless it is a travel problem? No pedal interference? No place for the linkage to hang up? clevis hits bolt? Air in system? Most stuck clutchs are due to rust, and the pedal has enough leverage to spring the disc, but the disc stay engaged- you can't idle, but the pedal moves. Discs are springy, to some extent. I don't know the model, can you remove the bottom cover and look at the edge of the disc while a helper pushs the pedal? Look for some motion of the pressure plate while the disc squooshs? On a functional system, the pp moves only about 1/8th inch.

Most of the stuck clutchs have been due to the disc rusting all the parts together, after being parked for years. Or parked after crossing a stream. Your's sounds like a recent project, so I suspect something else. I hate to see somebody pull a clutch for no reason.

Good luck, have fun!
