I use a rear sump oil pan. I put a notch 2.0" x 2.0" on the right side to give better differential clearance. The Carryall needed it, as did the M37. I know the Bumblebee will also need the notch. Of course you will then be forced to rework the oil pickup as it makes its down and cross bend right in the notch area. I have heard that others as an option cut about 2.0" off the entire bottom of the pan. Otherwise one good bottoming bump and you will automatically modify the pan contour.

On my M37 with temporary 2.0" lift blocks under the springs, I still felt the mod was still needed. When I rework the front springs the lift will be taken care of and the lift blocks removed. I feel lift blocks on a steer axle are dangerous.

You cant get the engine high enough to provide good clearance, and if you could the angle would be to great.
