against the advice of hot rodders who will tell you 'im running a 850 cfm' or something cool like that i'd advise using a smaller carb than the orig. example - i installed a rebuilt 360 from a lil red express truck in my m37. stock carb was an 850 thermoquad. i ran a 650 edelbrock and great performance with no rejetting or fussing around. i figure you can run a off road edelbrock 500 and be happy. a 450 if available would be good too. go for an electronic choke and get the offroad model as it wont stall on inclines and declines. you will be happy with the edelbrock carbs as they have improved greatly since i started messing around with the dodges.
