Can't find serial number

I can't seem to find the serial number on my power wagon. I know for sure that it has to be at least a 56. It has the four black faced gauges in the center of the dash. It doesn't have a serial number where its supposed to, above the front axle on the frame on either side. It also has no data plate inside the cab either. The vin number on my pa title is not a serial number, I already tried it. Is there any other place that it could be. This is not a spoof, this is a genuie question. Thanks, Pete
