Hi Mike:

Better sense tells me not to open my big mouth anymore, but here I go again. The bases that Michael covered are all out of context. 1st, the first time W got in, he got 43% of the popular vote, the second time it was a bit better/more at 47%. That's popular vote (We The People). He got 50.7% of the Electoral College vote.

Yeah, the Kurds were gassed, and there was way more than 5K killed, but this happened shortly after Desert Storm, when HW put a halt to our advance (weather rightly done or not). There were also about 50K butchered in southern Iraq around the same time, which is part of the reason the NO FLY ZONES were created, then extended.

Weather or not 911 could have been prevented, I don't know? Are we getting all the facts? I seriously doubt it, but again, I don't know. Afghanistan WAS the right thing to do. Iraq WAS not. But that too doesn't matter anymore as we are there, and need to finish what we started.

About the illegals, I've always said that children born in this country to illegal parents SHOULD NOT be made citizens. Also, the cost of health care for these folk SHOULD be passed back to their country of origin.

I have contacted my local congressman (who unfortunately was retained) with this suggestion along with putting a bill before congress proclaiming that English be our offical languge of OUR country (hard to believe, but it's not). Did ya know that English is the offical language of the new European Common Government?

Not doing that, and keeping our borders unsecure is something that THIS regime has maintained vigorously. Something that IS NOT mentioned to loudly is that we will soon need passports to enter Canada, or to come back from there.

As for the name calling, distortion of truth and finger pointing, well from what I see, one party employs that with the zeal of a drowning man reaching for rescue, and then, when it's done back to them, they cry foul. When ya get down to it, ALL the parties are equally as guilty.

All I can say about our fearless leader is that when the time came for him to put his life on the line for our country, he got out of it. A lot of people did that back then, and I'm sure it still happens to this day.

Back then, if ya remember honestly, there was great concern about the morality of what we were doing. Our guys were dying or worse for what? Democracy? The reality is that South Viet Nam was a dictaorship. So I can't fault people back then for NOT wanting to go, and trying to get out of going.

With that being said, I don't think any of those folk have the right to send our people off to be killed or worse now. For whatever cause or reason. Uh Oh, I have to cut this short as something more important needs to be done, I have to make my daughters lunch for school. ;>)

Later
Ugg (Ick, my shoe's are all full of soap)
