I'm working on my father's 1952 M-37 it has a 100amp 24volt system it stopped charging I took it to a local automotive electric shop.he checked and advised alternater was not working he repair alternator I reinstalled it.and it started overcharging I then was advised regulater was bad.I found one it's nos I installed it and now it's not charging at all.I called suppier and was told it needs to be polarized but they were unable to tell me how to do that.I called the atuomotive electric shop and was advised that was BS.someone who knows please advise Thanks Leo
