Dave, the heater you have is most likely not original to your M. M37 heaters were gas fired and mounted on the driver's side front fender. I do not have a pic of the surface mount defroster duct but I will look thru my manuals and try to get a pic posted. There is a good shot of the dash in one of the manuals. Where is my memory ??? :-) I'll try to come up w/ it. Kurt
