Yes. I notice they like to call just about any half-decent flashlight a "tactical light" these days. If it's black and aluminum it's automatically a "tactical light." The goofiest thing is when they show some big black flashlight glommed onto the side of a pistol that's smaller than the light. Are people really walking around with pistols stuck to their flashlights (or vice versa) or do people just like to tell their friends that they have a "tactical light" that they could attach to a weapon for "tactical operations"? Kind of reminds me of a guy who was showing off his rambo knife and telling me how this one part of it was made so he could cut through an aircraft skin in case he ever happened to be in a plane wreck and had to cut his way out. Yeah, that's something I worry about every day.
