Slip or drag, it seems to do both, and my clutch petal is only moving about an inch until it stops,
I have adjusted the pedal (at the pedal) all the way in for maximum free play, and now adjust the slave only, when it acts up. It is like this, the clutch slips as if pressure is still on the
fingers, three that join at the TOB. So when it slips, I adjust the salve to give it more free play, but then I cannot get 1st or reverse without
grinding. Bear in mind, this is a W500 that has been through the mill several times, the body is gone, like the hood is the most complete piece of sheetmetal on the truck, it is a winch truck with gin poles, and it is quite handy, but seriously ugly. About two weeks ago, i drove it 30 miles from my property to my house, no windshield, no grill, no fenders, no brains. The Harley riders
touring the hill country must have thought I was Jed Clampitt. Thanks for your input, I will probably pull the tranny.
