Wen the engine is ideling, no knock. When the engine has a load on it, no knock at low rpms. But does have knock above half throttle. When the engine rpm is up, going down the road, in gear, driving along, if I'm not going up hill, down hill, accelerating, or engine brakeing, it knocks. Sometimes, it sounds like it's coming from the clutch. The noise is low, near the rear. I think it's a lower rod or main bearing. Sound about right? I coppied the napa parts list off this page, use those? I've never rebuilt a motor, but I have rebuilt transmisions, carbs and so on. Is it worth having someone else do it? Thanks for the input.
