If Ricker's advice doesn't help, try powering the coil with a jumper wire from the electronic ignition. I had an old '73 that had a corroded wire due to cracked insulation that caused a similar problem. If the spark improves, start checking your wiring harness. Be sure your electronic box has a good ground.
