Id go with steel if I were to approach it. I am also tired of people voicing their feelings about other peoples trucks. I bought the truck to drive and play with for me and if I want a V-8 and Dana 70's then that is what I or you should do. Every time this is done the value of an original goes up a smidgen cause there is one less original out there, but in reality, the trucks that are being modified are not creampuffs to begin with, so nothing is lost. Would I get one from a museum and hack it---NO! But the average rusted non running power wagon or poorly running M-37 that gets a new fire under the hood and some body or driveline mods does not retract from the others who want theirs correct. What? You gonna tell me what I can install on my new Dodge too? Sun visors ruin the originality........
