I disassembled the passenger side of the winch and drove the shaft out with a hammer. I made a new shaft. I think it was 3/4 inch. drilled a hole for the clutch dog and installed a new seal. The old shaft was badly corroded around the seal. The seal is a low spot and will retain water. Keep shaft greased.
