Calling Dodge WC 3/4 ton ambulance experts

I picked up a model today of a Dodge WC 3/4 ton ambulance. The kit has extra parts (antenna mainly) for a SIGNAL CORPS version.

I am unaware any ambulances were converted to radio vehicles. Does anyone have any info on this?

What is the correct interior color of the ambulance? Does that apply to the cab as well?

(And I plan on building the kit as a normal ambulance, btw.)
