They might squeeze on but it'll be tight since 1/2 ton rims are only 5.5" wide, I think. 36X13R16 radial Swampers would fit at least as well because they are taller, allowing less "pinch" per inch of sidewall. And with 4.89s rpms would be better for road use with 36" tires; about 2800 rpm @ 60 mph. with the 33s it would be 3130 at the same speed. Narrower tall tires like 9.00R16 XLs (10" wide, 36" tall) or XZLs (10.3" wide, 37" tall) or if you want shorter tires 8.25R16 XZLs (8.9" wide, 34" tall) would be best for those rims.
