Need info on M-37 motor tranny swap

I have a 53 M-37 that i would like to build up.My plans are a chevy 350 with TH350 tranny. I have not seen anyone build one with this tranny yet.Does it fit? I was also planning to install 4.89 gears with lockers and 11.00-18 tires from Snake river 4x4.
What kind of mph to rpm am i looking at? Does this sound like a good combo?
