Brake Leak thru Booster?

I've got a question to throw out there. My WM300 is losing brake fluid.
There's no obvious leaks and the system is new. I've installed a firewall
mounted master cylinder. Going down really steep hills there's a lot of
smoke coming out of the mufflers of a low-mileage engine. A friend suggested
that brake fluid is leaking through my booster and is being sucked into
the V8 I've installed through the vacuum booster system. Does anyone out
there know if there's a slave unit attached to the booster? I've never
had the booster apart and it's the only thing I never rebuilt. I'm losing
a fair amount of brake fluid and it's "driving" me crazy...not to mention the
smoke issuing from the mufflers going downhill under compression. That only
happens when I'm on really steep ground and going very slowly.

Any and all comments are greatly appreciated,

Bill
