How were the 2" longer 251's fit into the power wagons???
I have a 49 that I pulled the engine out of to put in a 46.
When I went to set it in place I discovered it was a 251 and
wouldn't fit into the 46 frame.
When I checked the 49 I discovered the front cross member had
been moved 2" toward the front of the truck. The hood had also
been lengthened 2". (That's why those ugly weld seams were in the hood.)
Is there any other way to fit the 251 in??
Where's a good source to find a 230??
