I,ve never seen a gin pole kit. My 1948 PW has 21' tall pole with a Braden MU-3 winch. To realease mine from the front bumper all you do is drive up to a sturdy wall, loosen the two guy wires that go over the rear fenders and lower the boom to a forklift and drive out two pins. My PW was origionall y purchased for as a pole setter for Hood River County herein beautiful rainy Oregon. i am in the proces of building a headache rack for it. Mine had a metal canopy that the guy wires guides were welded to. Unfortunatly I had to remove the canopy from the truck. It was welded to box rails and had to be cut off with a cutting torch.
