I have had varying degrees of success at welding springs. When I was in Highschool I worked for a local logging company in Pierce. They had a couple of old dumptrucks that were worth thier wieght in gold one spring when it flooded by Orofino. The boss couldn't bear to see them down for long enough to make a proper repair so I "improvised". I think the repairs that lasted the longest were made with BRUTUS, and some old sections of pickup springs. They both were 74' Kenworths and they also had broken frames right in front of the shock mounts on the driver's sides, at different times that spring. At that time I was only going to school 6hrs a day and normally only fixing minor things on the trucks, before I went home but when one of the dumptrucks broke down I'd stay all night, and go to school the next day.

Anyways I've mostly been working on the bathroom, and repairing the FFFPW. I'm currently a millwright for Potlatch, working in thier #4 power house, but I'm always looking for a good job. I have my own SA200, and I recently acquired a little Miller mig machine (which I built the flatbed for old flame with). Gimmee a call I'll be around tommorrow putting the custom steering shaft in the steering box.

P.S. Break down any tires lately??
