I agree with Mac.
I Use a shot jumper of rubber between the tank and steel fuel line. and a short jumper of rubber fuel line between the fuel pump and fuel line at the engine end. The jumpers handle any vibration and will not eventually crack the steel line. Be sure the rubber jumpers are RATED for Gasoline. Not restoreing to orignal, I use 3/8" steel brake tube between the tank and fuel pump.....its cheaper than NOS/OEM fuel lines
