do you have access to a front short axle shaft for an m37 either side that goes through the spindle? I put that 4.30 gear ratio carrier in the front of my 52PW seems the PW front short shafts are about half or more/less inch too long. Rear was fine with some light shimming on the axle flange.
Need a length measurement of the shaft itself so I can compare and maybe just what I need for my conversion as I know the m37 axles are shorter but do not know how much shorter.
Or I may just turn the ends in the lathe to cut them shorter to fit though I'll have less spline length. Not that I'll be 4X4ing that much
Trying to get it rolling again and set the cab, start the engine test for leaks etc and secure the front clip.
Got one engine to run today the 313 in the 58 Fargo sweptside she sounds sweet even with no mufflers haha
