Pulled the 3rd member last night, found the noise maker, ring gear is missinf about 7 teeth and the pinion is not looking good either. I have some pics but don't have an account set up to post on this site. If anyone does and wishes to post them, I'll send them to you on email.
I checked my records last night, I found that I replaced this same R&P 15 years ago almost to the day. ( most of my major work takes place just prior to the snow flying)
