I used to work closely with the Amish. Back in the day, I was one of the few "English" persons to be invited in their homes.
The tragedy in Pennsylvania is even more shocking because the Amish people are the last ones I would think to be targeted by a psycho. They are pacifists and try to avoid modern culture as much as they can.
That said, they have whown compassion for the shooters family. Not many of us, including me, would be able to do that, especially this early.
