model name for their WW II 2-1/2 ton 6X6 truck, so it might be a Stude 6 cylinder mengone. Or, it might simply signify a governemt rebuilt six cylinder engine. Are there any part numbers are cast into the engine block or head that might help us identify the manufacturer?
