Seriously, it's sad that so many Americans are so pathetically ignorant about economics. It's easier to fall prey to conspiracy theories and diabolical thoughts than it is to learn how the economy works. Educate yourself,...you'll be richer and less angry at things that are not really mysterious, but predictable and rational. Oil prices are tied to the end of summer lessening demand, even in years without fall elections.
