Eric knows better than to say "never" when it comes to Dodge, and I should have elaborated more on the Route Van/Postal Van differences.
I have seen both with standard frames and both with the "independent" rear suspension. I have also seen both with right and/or left hand drive. I think that Dodge was experimenting over the years with both the frames and body length and the later models became more similar to save production costs. My hunch is that the IRS did not pan out as hoped and they abandoned it after a few years. As Mikey wrote, Don Bunn covers this a little in one of his books and there used to be a Route Van web page. I came across several of these in Arizona a few years ago, the guy had a Van Fetish....= )
