I just read about a small oilfield that was recently discovered in Central America somewhere, perhaps Belize (British Honduras). The local landowners, mostly farmers, formed a co-op to manage it. The amazing thing is the crude oil is so good that they burn it in their diesel tractors without refining it at all. They recently sold their first tanker load to a refinery in Texas where it got a high price because of it's quality. Now THAT's the kind of oil well I'd like to have!
