IN spite of the fall in gas prices, as long as the diesel costs are high, we will continue to see the "fuel surcharges" on shipping. I recently read an article that basically concluded that it was in large part another scheme to squeeze more dollars out of people...that the fees did not truly reflect the extra cost of diesel and that there was a % premium in it to the companies.
