But did you know that with retirement and benefits, GM's labor cost is $90 per hour? How much do the Japanese Brands pay at their non-union US plants? Doesn't that leave a lot of money to pay for better engineering, and better materials? And they can use more labor hours to put things together better?

I'm waiting to hear that the Big Two go bankrupt, just to break the union contracts. That's when I'll buy heavy into their stock.
