I finally got to see the Dodge COE that a friend picked up for me from his uncle's estate. It is a little rough, but is the only one I have ever seen around here. The door tag is from Chrysler Canada, and reads: Serial No. 90001049 Model DBM4 29. Gross Weight 13500. It was originally blue in color, has the park lamps on the headlights, and never has had cowl lamps. What year does the serial work out to, and might it have been an "Air Force" truck? He was told it was a 1947, but I am leaning towards it being a 1940. Thanks for any help. J.V.L.
