The Dana 44 did start the vac-disconnect in 1985.
But they did not go with vac-disconnet until 1994 on the Dana 60.
1993 and older Dana 60 have lockouts.
All trucks made after 1994(the new ram style) didn't have locking hubs no matter if it had the Dana 44 or 60.
