I have 4 multifuels, 3 -1Cs and 1 -1D, and the density compensator hasn't been bypassed on any of them. I understand that if intend to run only #2 diesel, you can bypass the density compensator and adjust the timing to get better fuel economy, but I've never read a clear description of how to do it.
