Hi Paul. That's an interesting concept. My '69 F350 4x4 has a 428 engine with C6 auto and the winch works very much like a hydraulic winch. Your post reminded me of this question. A while back you referred me to the Hydroboost system which I bought and installed on my Ford. The change in the braking was phenomenal. The only problem is that the power steering pump, which is a new rebuilt unit, and typically a little noisey, is really loud now. Do you have a suggestion for another manufacturer that I could look into to convert to that would be a little less noisey? Thanks for the help.
