Depending upon what caused it to seep, you might consider an expoxy on the leak. If the cause is internal tank rust, this is not a good option, but if it's a localized external rust, or a rubbed area, the JB-Weld products can work. We fix'ed a Combine Diesel Fuel tank that had a seep leak at a side mount fuel gauge bung back in the late 70's and it held until we chnaged combines many years later.
