On my GM 6.2, I had to give it some throttle to get the solenoid to come off of 'shut down' mode. Stanadyne pump? so Similar?

I also cracked loose some injector lines. If you can't reach some, it's probably OK, It'll run an 4-5 til it smooths out.

I got lucky a couple times and felt it running out of power in time to pull over and dump in my spare 2 gallons of 'bail out' fuel. Only had a hard time re-starting it when the starter was bad and when I changed to the latest HMMWV pump.
