I have a 52 hp IH diesel farm tractor. One would think that with the deep lug rear tires it would be good in snow and ice. Wrong! It is fine in dirt of all kinds, but with snow and especially ice the tires tend to spin. I had to buy tractor chains so it could function adequately in the winter. They are a pain to put on as they weigh about 100# a piece.
I have Power Kings on my PW. They are shown on Cabell's site. They "look" vintage but are supposedly better in mud and snow/ice than the NDT's. Power Kings are directional and have a rather deep lug design.
The Co-op spur grip tires are a close "cousin" of the Power Kings in appearance.
