Yes, but new does not have that great styling of the older planes. Heck, I even like those Fiberglass power boats from the mid 50's. A few years ago, people would pay you to haul them off, now they are begining to gain rapid value as they are becoming more and more collectable.
Hole in the air (classic plane) hole in the water (classic boat), hole in the driveway (classic power wagon)...It's all the same!
What to do when you run out of gas in a plane? Well... If near a field, land. If over mountians, jump. If over water, swim...LOL!!!!
Actually, I think pilots typically take fuel management a bit more serious than PW drivers.
BTW, I flew a '58 Piper Apache over the weekend, so that's why I'm hot to trot over the twin engine oldies.
