Acceptance.

Sometimes ya just got to give up. I spent the good part of the day yesterday trying (and finally succeeding) to instal a started solenoid, and replacing some wires. The Beast is a monument to Jerry Rigging.

Whoever put it together had talent and skill throwing together the mish-mash of different parts from different vehicles to get one semi working truck. Of course, the tools I needed were missing, so I had to run out and buy new ones to only find them later. MAYNARD, REMEMBER TO PUT THE TOOLS BACK WHEN YOUR DONE!

Got a call from the glass shop yesterday. It seems the rear window gaskets I got from Vintage were incorrect. He says those were the original windows and original gaskets, and what Vintage sent are different. Now I need to get new glass so the gaskets I got can be used. He has some scrap bronze glass layin around that he'll give me.

Last night I had a sleep-over at the local VA. Today, the heavens broke loose. I'll never get out of this park..... Oh well, just heard it's supposed to storm all weekend too. If it lets up enough today, I'll see if I can now start the Beast.

If my head didn't already hurt so much, I'd bang it against the wall. ;>) Oh yeah, while I was out getting those tools (25 minutes), the UPS guy tried to drop off the wife's new computer. I wasn't home, he didn't drop it off. My wife has only been on me for 8 months to get her computer back up and running only to discover it's motherboard had blown. Ain't life grand.....

Later
