The diesel fuel emissions are changing for 2007. I wouldnt think there would be a damage problem running that diesel in a 2007 truck but you may or may not meet the emission requirements. The 2007 requirements is why the Liberty diesel is history. They are making the requirements tougher and the fuel will have to get cleaner also (Raise the price). They are starting to crack down on the particulate that comes out of the exhaust on diesels as well.

With the new regulations I think we will see a stall in the torque wars between the big 3.


As for 2007 Dodge diesels there are already 2007 trucks on the dealer lots with the 5.9 610 engines. Cab Chassis trucks can be ordered with the new 6.7 engine and I think later in 2007 the regular trucks will go to the 6.7 as well. Theres also a 6 speed auto coming next year as well.
