Newer cats are two-sections, not just platinum. They are delicate to different metals and other chemicals. So, intil the fuel companies take the sulpher out, no new cats...

You also need to use newer spec motor oil, GIL? specs? (in addition to SF/CD kind of specs) Seems the phosphates and the moly in older oil ate the pallladium. In theory,Cats should last forever...
