In California, there are no laws against inflating your own tires. And contrary to your belief, my father has had much experience in these type of wheels. You should never doubt something you know nothing about, he has been dealing with truck tires for 35 years. Also, I do have the proper air chuck, and plan to be "out of the bite" while airing up these tires. I am going to put the loader bucket of our backhoe over the lock ring, way tougher than any cage I have ever seen. Unless tire shops use cages that weigh over 6000 pounds. Thanks for your concern, but believe it or not, there are people that don't work in tire shops that can mount truck tires. I'll post photos to reinforce my point.
