Most mated 435s from around 76-86?(maybe even later)should bolt up no problem.Im not sure about 5-speeds.I havnt messed with those before.Ive bolted a divorced 73 435 to a 80 360 before.I have heard rumors that some small blocks werent drilled for pilot bushings, but have never seen one that wasnt, not even small blocks in some cars ive parted out(cordobas,a magnum, diplomat, etc.from 76-85)Im not even sure you have to mate a 318 flywheel to a 318 only.Ive mated a 318 flywheel up to a 360 (in my younger years when I wasnt so wise LOL) and had NO problems what so ever.It was a 74 2wd 3/4 318-4-speed truck and I put the flywheel and tranny in a 74 360 Power Wagon.I put a lot of miles on that old girl, sold it,then I know it went threw heck and back and was still runnin the second time I owned it(10 years later).
