No, the red and black is battery cables. I am running a double battery set-up with a marine selector switch. The batterys are under the dump bed, which is electric over hydraulic. If the batterys go dead, there would be no way to raise the bed to access them. I ran the remote posts to the grille so I could plug in a battery charger there, or be able to jump start someone else or heaven forbid be jump started myself.
The hydraulic system can be seen in this picture. The Pressure line out of the pump goes into the winch valve, then to the power steering box, then to the plow valve and then back to the pump, via a small auxillary resevoir. The power steering pump is from AGR performance, its their "super pump" which is a befed up saginaw pump that mounts in the "ham can" resevoir.
The different hydraulic functions will not all work at the same time but they really dont need to.
