as paul posted - take to tire shop have it
done!
DYI is not the smartest thing to do sometimes
Ken-Tool makes a small tool for getting the
bead away from the rim - takes time & a hammer no big deal no back hoe or other crap
required - just a knowledge of truck tires.
after the tires are off the wheels have the
wheels inspected by a profession truck tire
person - need to inspect for cracks/rust to
determine if they are still serviceable
then as paul stated - clean, paint & take to
tire shop to have mounted & inflated (in a
cage or other approved restraing device)
always need to use new flaps and tire talc
in tire before mounting.
the OSHA guidelines (laws) regards truck tire
service are on the "BEST of the FORUM"

as body parts are usually removed by the
shrapnel
