My best tip is to take the old tires and wheels to a truck tire shop and have them break them down. Then bring home the wheels and clean and paint, return and have your new tires mounted at a Truck Tire Shop.
Goss Tire in Plattsburgh only charges me $10 per tire to break down and mount. I cant do it for that price and I dont have the tool either.
