I have had them run perfect with bent dist shafts. it may jsut need to be rebuilt. they are getting really old. you can find L6 distributors for Dodge on Ebay all day for 40 to 80 bucks BRAND NEW!! NOS!! They may not be exact application but these motors aren't that picky. if you buy one for forty bucks that has vacuum advance just don run the vacuum advance if you don't want. The WW2 stuff did not have it anyway and has almost nil effect on performance
