You are correct about the prosection thing which is why I live in AZ. AS far as the concealed part IF you are wearing a coat or jacket of some kind and it is over your holster then it is partly concealed. the weapon has to be in full view of anyone around you. Usually if you are wearing a hip holster then there is no problem but some guys wear holsters that are under the arm or on the ankle or in a mirad of other places. Also I have seen people carrying with just he gun tucked into thier belt.
Not the smartest thing in the world but they will put it right in the middle of thier back and no holster.
Those would be examples of not being out in the open with no part concealed. I hope that clears up the confusion.
