Use a "wonder bar" as a wedge to put some push on. Use your biggest hammer as an 'anvil', whack the other side with a medium size hammer- as if your are trying to make the 'O' into an Oval.
Wonder Bars are those carpenter's flat bars, made from 1/4 inch steel. Pretty handy for mechanics too
