...no switch! The fan runs by means of a thermostat, a switch will interupt the control circuit and is NOT adviseable.
Bruce is correct, if there is not a spare fuse for it, there should be and Painless is a good way to go, although any fuse/circuit breaker can be used as long as the installation is clean, properly grounded, and securely installed.
A wise old Jeeper once told me, while we were looking at used trucks to buy, "...if you see more than 2 wires not properly connected, terminated into a fuse block, or not taped up or run inside a loom, plan on re-wiring the whole truck because the owner didn't know what they are doing and you are just buying trouble..."
That's good advice to this day, run your wiring clean and it's one less thing to worry about and one more thing to make your truck standout from the crowd.
